Family Weekend Signature Events*

We invite you to join us for one of SDSU’s Family Weekend signature events!

• Pre-paid tickets are required for these events.
• In order to facilitate as many families having an opportunity to join a signature event during the weekend, families may register for only one signature event during the weekend.
• Tickets can be purchased as part of the Family Weekend registration and will be available on a first come, first serve basis until sold out.
• For these events, pricing is per person, including the student.
• Students must have tickets to the signature events, if they plan to attend with you.

Picnic & Serenade

Join SDSU students and families for an evening sunset on the Mesa, right in the heart of campus! Enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and get a taste of San Diego. Bring your picnic blanket and dancing shoes for an evening of fun!

Family Weekend Brunch

Meet SDSU staff and administrators and connect with other Aztec families at this informative breakfast.
Food will be served from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Formal program will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Aztec Football Family Weekend Tailgate

Snapdragon Stadium
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

(Football Game Kick-Off - 7:30 p.m.)

Join us to celebrate our new stadium and SDSU Aztecs Football! We'll have all the traditional tailgate excitement; food, games, a live DJ, and more!

Aztec Football Game Tickets

Tickets for the SDSU Aztecs vs. Hawaii game will be prioritized to families who purchase tickets to the Aztec Football Game Tailgate event.

Once you register for Family Weekend and purchase Aztec Football Game Tailgate tickets, you will receive a link from New Student and Parent Programs to purchase tickets for the football game. New Student and Parent Programs has coordinated a limited number of football game tickets for Family Weekend Football Game Tailgate students and families.

If there are tickets remaining for those who do not wish to attend the tailgate event, registrants may indicate their interest when making their Family Weekend reservation. Tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be available after September 19, if there are any football game tickets that were not claimed by students and families who purchased tailgate event tickets.

Important: The Family Weekend section on October 8 in Snapdragon Stadium is not near the Student section. In order to guarantee that you sit with your student, you will need to include your student in your reservation for the Football Game Tailgate and football game tickets.
