Friday, October 7

Welcome and Tours

Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, Goldberg Courtyard

At Welcome & Check-in we will give you a welcome packet, schedule of events, and, a lanyard with a name tag. We’d like you to wear your name tag lanyard so that we can address you by name and get to know you. All participants, including students and children (16 and under) will receive a commemorative 25th Annual Family Weekend pin!

Enjoy a campus tour led by our student Ambassadors and discover the rich history and traditions of SDSU.

If you don't have a chance to check in from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., we will be checking families in this location until 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening.

Scripps Cottage

Join other students and families for an evening sunset on the Mesa, right in the heart of campus! Enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and get a taste of SDSU. Bring your dancing shoes for an evening of fun!

Mission Bay Aquatic Center - 1001 Santa Clara Place, San Diego, CA 92109

Check out SDSU's premiere watersport facility located in Mission Beach. Head to the beach where SDSU students can learn to surf, sail, wakeboard and more for college credit. While you're there take advantage of a free kayak or stand up paddleboard rental available to Family Weekend participants.

SDSU Library

The Library invites you to an Open House with special events highlighting SDSU’s diversity in resources, services and spaces. The Library is a significant contributor to student success featuring tutoring centers and comfortable, quiet spaces that are conducive to student learning and well-being. Library users work together using state-of-the-art multimedia equipment and computer technology, supported by various journals, databases, and books in both print and electronic formats.

Student Services West, Suite 1661

The Military and Veterans Program at SDSU provides services, support, and resources to more than 4,700 military-connected students each year. Come by and visit us in the Barron Veterans Center located in Student Services West Suite 1661 and learn about the different things we have to offer.

Our open house will provide the opportunity to learn about the ZIP Launchpad, a free extracurricular incubator at SDSU, that helps SDSU students FROM ALL MAJORS start with an idea and launch a business. You will meet our staff and our student teams as well as see our innovative space and tour our prototyping lab. Most importantly, you will learn how to get involved.

Meet SDSU staff and administrators and connect with other Aztec families at this informative breakfast with student performances. Food will be served starting at 10 a.m. and the formal program will begin at 10:30 a.m. An opportunity drawing will take place for SDSU students.

Únase y celebre el 25 aniversario de SDSU Fin de Semana Familiar mientras platica en español con otras familias y personal de SDSU para crear conexiones. Además, ofreceremos comida durante el evento. Alentamos a los estudiantes a participar en el evento con sus familias.

Come celebrate SDSU’s 25th Annual Family Weekend while you mingle with SDSU staff and other Spanish speaking families to build a sense of community. Refreshments will be provided during the event. Students are encouraged to attend with their families.
