New Student Orientation Program Dates for Transfer Students

The orientation dates below represent the date you will register for classes once you have completed the pre-orientation guide which will be sent to you beginning in May.

Not all colleges and majors are represented on all orientation dates. Once in the registration system, you will be able to choose from ONLY the dates still available for your major. Do not make travel arrangements before you have reserved your space for New Student Orientation. If you can travel only once to San Diego for any SDSU event, please attend New Student Orientation. See the list of majors if you are not sure which college your major falls under.

A concurrent Parent and Family Orientation will be offered on June 29, August 3 and August 4. If you are bringing parents/family members, you must sign up for one of these dates. Parents and family members attend their own program and are separated from students after the Welcome and again after lunch.
