New Student Orientation Onine Reservations

Before you start:

Activate your SDSUid: As an admitted student, you will receive an email from [email protected] with instructions on how to activate your SDSUid account. Complete the steps in the email to activate your account. You will use your SDSUid and password to log in to the New Student Orientation reservation system.

SDSUid Gmail account is required: You must have your SDSUid Gmail account set up to receive the confirmation email before you make your reservation. For instructions to set up your SDSUid Gmail account, please visit the Google G Suite for Students page.

Have a credit card ready: The Parent & Family Programs fee (for Parent & Family Orientation) is due upon registration. MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover are accepted. Checks are also accepted, but your space will not be confirmed until we receive your payment. There is a $35 fee for returned checks. The First Year Experience fee ($300-for students) is due January 20.

Have your parents’ contact information ready to complete the reservation form: Please provide complete information, and make sure the parent email addresses are correct. If you register for Parent and Family Orientation all orientation correspondence will be sent via email. The email addresses you provide will allow you to log in to the Virtual Parent and Family Orientation.

When you finish: Your orientation confirmation will be emailed to you. This contains pre-orientation requirements, so please read it in its entirety.

Your class registration date in my.SDSU will not change to your orientation date until you have attended the full virtual orientation program, on January 9, 2023.
