Submit Final Transcripts

Final Official Transcripts – Due July 15, 2023

You must have your school send official transcripts that include spring 2023 grades and proof of high school graduation (e.g. graduation date posted on high school transcript).

Your admission eligibility was determined using the information you reported on your application for admission. All courses you listed as in progress or planned in your senior year must be completed with grades of C- or higher. You must also maintain your reported overall grade point average. Your transcript(s) will be used to verify your self-reported information. If your grade point average and/or current course grades drop, or if there is a discrepancy in what you reported on your application compared to your transcript(s), your offer of admission may be withdrawn.

Transcript and Test Score Instructions

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts are required from all high schools and colleges you previously attended even if you withdrew from the course(s) or the course(s) were nonacademic or not applicable to your college major. College courses listed on high school transcripts will not be considered official. If you haven’t done so already, you must provide a final official high school transcript showing spring 2023 grades/credits and date of graduation and official test scores, no later than July 15, 2023. If you are attending Orientation, your final official transcript(s) must be received in the SDSU Office of Admissions at least one week prior to your Orientation date. If we do not receive your transcript by this date, an administrative hold will be placed on your university record and you will be unable to register for fall classes. This transcript is in addition to the transcripts you submitted with your Intent to Enroll.

You must request that official transcripts, bearing the high school or college letterhead, be sent directly to the SDSU Office of Admissions either electronically or in a sealed envelope prior to your orientation date. For a transcript to be considered official, it must remain in its original sealed envelope. If opened, the transcript will no longer be valid. Please request your transcripts as soon as grades are posted so that the transcripts will arrive by the deadlines. (Note that it can take several weeks for a school to send a transcript once it is ordered.)

Electronic College Transcripts

You must submit transcripts from all colleges you attended while in high school (including spring 2023 grades). SDSU will only accept electronic transcripts from the schools listed here. Please ensure that you indicate this preference when making your request.

For colleges that do not supply electronic transcripts, the school should send the transcripts directly to:

SAT and/or ACT Scores

Scholastic Aptitude Test of The College Board (SAT Reasoning) and/or the American College Testing Program (ACT) scores are needed for placement in English and mathematics. If your SAT Reasoning and/or ACT test scores are not listed on your high school transcript and you did not indicate SDSU as a destination for your scores when you took your test, you must contact the testing agency to request the electronic scores be sent to SDSU. Please contact the appropriate testing agency listed below.
