Travel
Bartell Hotels Partnership
San Diego hotels offer discounts for Aztec parents, families and friends! All special rates are based on availability. To inquire about "SDSU Friends and Family Rate" and to check out hotel amenities, call or visit the Bartell Hotels partnership website.
To ensure the special rates, ask for the "SDSU Friends and Family Rate" when you make your reservations.

Directions, Parking and More
Parking
Arrangements have been made for you to park on campus without purchasing a permit* in the following parking structures** from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.:
- Parking 3: East of College Avenue, behind the residence halls
- Parking 7: Next to the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center
- Parking 12: Directly north of Viejas Arena
*You will receive a printable personalized parking placard via email on October 16 to place on your dashboard for the weekend.
**Park in student spaces (S) only. Do not park in special permit parking spaces, disabled (unless you have appropriate documentation), or vendor parking.
Special Assistance
We will try to arrange accommodations for you if you require special assistance. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be accommodated. Please note, we do not have wheelchairs to loan for Family Weekend. If you require a wheelchair, please bring one with you.
Please let us know of your needs by filling in the appropriate section of the online form at the time you register.
Check-in
First stop: At Welcome & check-in we will give you a welcome packet, schedule of events, and a lanyard with a name tag. We’d like you to wear your name tag lanyard so that we can address you by name and get to know you. If you pre-ordered a t-shirt you will pick it up at check-in.
Friday, October 20
- 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Goldberg Courtyard, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union
- 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Check-in closes temporarily
- 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Campanile Walkway (Top of Scripps Hill)
Saturday, October 21
- 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Goldberg Courtyard, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union
Once you’ve checked in, you’ll be on your way to discovering what your student’s SDSU home is really like. You only have to check in once for Family Weekend and if you are unable to do so during our scheduled times, your student can check in for you.
